West Town' Bakery's Infused "The Devil's Food Cake"

Updated: Sep 1, 2023

Ever wondered why there wasn't a single gluten-free cannabis edible out there on the market other than a few gummies? So did we! Introducing West Town's award-winning fusion: The devilishly delightful, gluten-free cake mix that dances with ganja. Welcome to a tastier dimension! Any by the way, nobody will know the difference.

West Town's gluten-free devil's food cake is a game-changer in the world of delectable desserts. Crafted with meticulous care, each ingredient is selected to ensure a rich, moist, and velvety texture that rivals traditional recipes. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, seamlessly melding the deep cocoa and coffee undertones with subtle hints of vanilla. The crumb is so tender and the layers so fluffy that it's hard to believe it's gluten-free. With this cake, we've not only eliminated gluten, but also the notion that gluten-free means compromising on taste. Dive in, and you'll soon forget there was ever a difference to begin with.

"Finally a gluten free edible that I can enjoy and that others will want to enjoy with me!" – Miles Lustig

A note on the coffee component: This recipe does contain caffeine since we specify equal parts of freshly brewed coffee and water. The coffee adds richness and helps the cocoa flavors of the cake develop while the water ensures the proper amount of moisture. You may substitute a decaffeinated coffee without sacrificing the flavor. Theoretically, you may also play with the ratio of water to coffee too, but keep in mind that coffee can be acidic and playing with the ratio could affect how the cake rises along with the texture.

Stupid question perhaps…is the cannabis in the dry mix? what ingredient is it in?

Hi Benjamin- yes, the cannabis is in the dry mix. We take a state regulated and tested cannabis distillate (not intoxicating hemp) and turn it into a powder which gets evenly blended into the dry mix.
